Is There a Vampire Race in The Veil?
Vampire is real — it shipped with VEILOWEEN as a permanent race. The catch: the official changelog did not publish what it does. Here is the confirmed part, and the honest boundary.
Quick answer: yes — the Vampire race was added in the VEILOWEEN update on October 10, 2026 as a permanent (non-event) race. The official changelog lists it in the race pool but did not publish its effect numbers. As of October 17, 2026 no verified effect table exists, so treat circulating stat claims as community guesses until they survive testing. You change into it the same way as any race: a reroll at the Stylist.
What is confirmed
| Fact | Detail | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Added | VEILOWEEN update, October 10, 2026 | Official changelog |
| Permanent race | Listed as a regular race, not an event reward | Official changelog wording |
| Effects / numbers | Not published as of October 17, 2026 | Absence of official data — not a rumor |
| How to get it | Standard race reroll at the Stylist | Same system as every other race |
The stat numbers you have seen are unverified
Launch weeks in The Veil have a pattern: a new race ships, copy-pasted stat tables spread before anyone tests them. Because there is no official race sheet and the changelog published no Vampire numbers, every "+X% damage" claim you find right now is Unverified by this site's standards. The safe play is to check the in-race effect description on the Stylist screen itself after rolling, or wait for repeatable in-game testing to land. This page updates the moment verified numbers exist — the URL does not change.
Do not confuse it with these
- Dullahan — the VEILOWEEN event race. Event races are earned through event currency during the Halloween event, not rolled at the Stylist. If you are hunting a limited spooky race, that is the one with the event grind attached.
- The Vampire Talisman — an endgame accessory, not a race. It is documented separately as the first endgame accessory with a confirmed effect; it does not change your race at all.
- Shrouded — a quest-locked race from the Pit Tamer line that replaces your current race when you accept it. Different system, different consequences — see the races hub for the full list.
How to roll for it
- Bank rerolls first: the only published working code as of Oct 21, 2026 is VEILOWEEN (5 rerolls); daily rewards are the other free source. Codes page.
- Remember the account gate: since September 12 your Roblox account must be at least 7 days old to play (official patch note).
- Open the Stylist screen in spawn town, spend a reroll, and check the race description that the game itself shows before you judge it.
- No official odds exist for legendary or special races — no pity threshold is published either, so do not trust "guaranteed vampire" claims.
