How Do You Get the Crusader Class in The Veil?
Crusader is the Glade's holy warrior, unlocked by clearing wraiths at the church. Here is the requirement and a clean route to it.
Quick answer: the Crusader trainer is Elian at the Glade church, and the unlock quest asks you to defeat 25 wraiths. The church area is the documented kill zone; take the quest first so every kill ticks the counter. No official quest sheet is published — the requirement below is community-documented from route guides and creator footage.
The requirement
| Requirement | Detail | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Trainer | Elian, at the church in the Glade | Community-documented |
| Kill quest | Defeat 25 wraiths | Community-documented |
| Kill zone | Wraith-type enemies around the church | Community-documented |
| Tracker | Quest counter — only ticks while the quest is active | Community-documented |
The clean route
- Reach the Glade — the game's surface area, on the main quest route from spawn town.
- Find the church and take the quest from Elian before clearing anything.
- Clear wraiths around the church in a loop. The goblin raid events are a different farm — this one is a steady circuit, not a wave event.
- Watch the quest counter, not your kill feed — the objective needs 25 counted wraith kills.
- Hand in to Elian and confirm the class on the classes hub.
Farming notes
- Bestiary bonus: repeated kills on the same enemy type stack bonus damage against it — by kill 25 you are farming faster than you started.
- Server-hop if the church goes quiet: another server usually has fresh spawns (community practice).
- Plan sanity and exit routes — the Glade is safe-ish, but any death anywhere costs a prestige level. Prestige rules.
- Name clash warning: “Wraith” is also a playable race and a summon type — the quest counts the wraith enemies at the church, not anything else.
